POST FINASTERIDE SYNDROME (PSF)

								Five alpha-reductase
inhibitors used for prostate baldness and
								adenoma
								can cause
								irreversible damage, according to the
								Post-Finasteride Syndrome Foundation. See

Androgen biosynthesis is complex and is not part
								of this presentation.

								More simply, by looking at

								BIOCHEMICAL DIAGNOSIS

								In the diagram below, we
can already understand that testosterone is a
precursor of dihydrotestosterone (that is the
sex hormone itself). Testosterone is also a
precursor of estradiol (that is the proliferative
female hormone). By preventing the production of
								dihydrotestosterone, the 5-alpha-reductase
inhibitors promote the production of estradiol
and thus the male feminization .

The pituitary gland also controls these
								biochemical reactions.

								Believing that 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors are
the correct treatments for baldness and prostate
adenoma is simplistic and even dangerous
								reasoning.

A man with post-finasteride syndrome must
								analyze his
								biology  thoroughly to correct
								his biochemistry.

								Between 1993 and 2020,
iatrogeny has reproduced and aggravated two
								pathologies :

								The syndrome of prostate atrophy
								(1979)

								and

The androgenic disease of andropause (1988)

								through the use of
								5-alpha-reductase for illusory and dangerous
								prescriptions
